I have a red PCB board Golden Tee 2004 Fore. My tube is shot (anyone interested in a WG D9200 recapped chassis please pm). I am Looking for recommendations for CRT replacement in the form of a TV. Im chopping the cabinet down and plunking a TV on top. It runs on 15khz-25khz. I am currently hooking an Epson projector from PCB/Video Card via VGA out and it runs fine, actually pretty cool at 110". Newer TV's with VGA input run 60khz and say "resolution not supported" i have also run the $30 RBG/CGA to VGA converter to several LCD TV's which works but after five minutes the color starts to wash out on the TV. I have combed over tons of sites and threads and still have no good list of TV monitors (32" or larger) with VGA that run at these lower scan rates 15-25khz. Any help is appreciated. Thank You!

The color will wash if your ClampSP and ClampST?? Settings are incorrect. Also I have had WAY better luck running that converter in CGA mode connected to a large 42" LCD TV. No fade at all. But you have to "tinker" to get the screen filled right.
Those Boards GT 2001 through GTC 2006 will not do VGA as far as I know so you need some type of converter.

To bad a Voodoo3 PCI card with TV out wouldn't work in these boards, that would be kind of cool.

I don't think you will ever find this. TVs with a VGA in like will never support CGA/EGA. Nothing runs at that low of a resolution anymore.

An operator north of me just trashed a bunch of D9200 (27" I believe), said they couldn't give them away. They do NOT ship though.

Excellent fast feedback. Thank you. I am running the VGA converter in CGA mode now but will "tinker" with the settings as you suggested and report back. Language boots in Chinese so...Setting the board to display in English language:
1. Press MENU button on the board
2. Press DOWN button to NO.4
3. Press MENU button to enter into
4. Press UP or DOWN button to select ENGLISH 5. Press MENU button to confirm
6. The menu will now display in English

I can confirm that Golden Tee Fore 2004 Red pcb will run VGA straight from the video card to an Epson projector EX5210 with zero problem. Looks great just HUGE!

For anyone looking to add a large monitor to their older Golden Tee via VGA without messing with a CGA to VGA converter try the Hitachi CMP4121HDU 42" Plasma computer monitor. It looks amazing and worked by simply plugging into my video card VGA out.

LOL you know whats funny, I have worked on several of these boards, and sold many more, I have never even tried to connect the VGA from the card to the monitor before. It never crossed my mind honestly. I "always" just assumed that it had to be CGA or EGA running through the JAMMA harness. Thank you for the lesson.
