OK, I have used incandescent bulbs before to light up my translucent trackball and clear buttons before but the light never really lights everything up the same. Can anyone recommend a good LED option that is not crazy on the price? I am thinking a 3 set so I can place one of each side for the buttons and right under the trackball for best lighting ability.

anyone have some thoughts on this?

No one has comments on how to light control panels and track balls with LED's or what not?

Go to Brian at paradisearcadeshop.com. He has some LED buttons that I have used extensively with good results. He may even have them prewired at this point to plug and play

i know there was someone that managed to mount one of those cheap ebay color changing LED bulbs that comes with a remote underneath their trackball and it would give off a colored hue in between the actual ball.

been trying to find the link to the project since i saw your thread but haven't been able to find it :(

Think this is the thread you mean. It's the one that came to my mind when I read this.
