I have a shuffleshot pcb that I picked up.. and wanted to put the golden tee and shuffleshot into one cab.. any idea's of how to do this? I found a few jamma switchers online.. but since both games use a trackball, I was curious if there was a switcher that I can buy that would allow the same trackball harness.. or do I need to splice the wires to each board? Would I be able to use 1 power supply? AND.. would each game be powered up so I wouldn't have to wait for the game to load each time I switched? I don't want to use a remote control to switch.. I would much rather have a button on the playfield to switch back and forth from GT to Shuffleshot..

Any ideas or suggestions??

Thanks!

Mike

I just finished up a multi trackball project that almost used this exact configuration but I decided to go mame and arcade VGAto a real 25" CGA monitor.
The trackball connector can just be hacked and divided into two different sets of cables for each board with its' own 6 pin connector.
You could connect two sets wires to each button going to each jamma harness. Depending on how many buttons you have, you could do a dedicated button to start each game, Shuffleshot has to have a star tbutton pressed to play.
Then have power go to both boards at the same time.
The tricky part is that you need to build a switch that will change over the CGA signal and the audio, so you only see and hear one board at a time.
Building an arcade vga, trackball mame was actually harder and more complicated than this but I can play other trackball games also.
Good luck!

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback Guys! I appreciate the help.. is there any other option than spending the $135 for the switcher.. or is that the best solution?

Just wanted to be sure before spending money from my pinball fund.. lol.

Thanks again for all the feedback and responses!
