So this is the only game that was supposed to be working when I bought it, and its the only one that doesn't work, LOL. It worked at the previous owner, but I got it home and at first nothing. I check the voltages out of the power supplies and at the JAMMA connector and they were fine. I unplugged all of the power connectors and plugged them back in and it seemed to work fine. Then one day it wouldn't turn on again, then one day it would etc. When it does turn on most of the time it will play for 10-30 minutes then flash off and on a couple times, then turn completely off. Also, the two lights on the board go on and off with the game going on and off, meaning if the game is on , the lights are on and vise-versa. This tells me the monitor is fine. Also the game is in a garage where it is cold, down to 10° F, could this affect anything. Thanks

The cold will definitely affect it...

When it "flashes off"..... does it re-boot the game ?

You need to measure the power supply voltages when it "flashes off" while it's in that "off" state. (if it stays off long enough to do so)

does this version use a hard drive?
Is it one of those 250w power supplys?

hmm thanks guys, this is at a friends house so I am gonna take a look when I go over there, I really think the cold is a big part of this. I'm pretty sure theres no hard drive as far as the power supply there is a box with a big transformer then a separate box with the 5v adjustment.

temp

The temp will affect the power supply and the hard drive. Try to keep games in an area where it's at least 40-50 degrees and it will be much better.
