Golden Tee 2005 Issues

Weeeeelll , As you moves it, you may attempt to fiddle with the horizontal hold on the monitor.

Also your board IS booting, but it is in a reboot loop, but you can't see the error because the screen is wonky.

GT Fore series can output CGA "or" EGA So you may want to be sure nothing got bumped although it would need to be a hell of a jar to move a DIP switch I would think.

What M# monitor are you running? Do you know the Resolution?

The monitor looks like it is in partial vertical collapse. I agree, your horizontal hold looks bad.

If you aren't good with monitors, I'd send it out. I used Buffet for my last GT monitor job - got a good board back, and it worked first time.

GT games do NOT like any moisture. I had a monitor that was messed up by corrosion, and then the game board was even worse. I was able to find someone on KLOV with an extra board.

Check your power supply - I seem to recall the +5 is very picky - you have to have it pretty close to dead on. Not too high - that's bad too. Right on the money.

Well, you "Could" have a failed Hard drive, OR you could need to clean your PCI edge connector on the Video card, or you could have a tad low voltage, but he PC Board says OK, or ........ The list goes on.

I would try the video card cleaning and re-seat it a few times to clean the actual PCI slot also.
I use Pink eraser or a gentle touch with blue scotch bright. ect... Just something to take off the tarnish

+1

Rebooting on these is a bitch. Hopefully it's a bad hard drive , or power supply failing, or turned down too low. The pain in the ass is if the video card quit working. (Trying to find a replacement, that is).

I would pull the video board and make sure it is seated correctly. Sometimes that caused issues on the ones I have had.

Is the hard drive spinning up? You typically can hear/feel it...

I think it might be the HD.. I don't hear anything. Now getting the Sign Port Test Failed and Board Test Failed, then days Board will Reset Via Watchdog in 60 seconds. A little research makes me think this is a HD issue. Going to try to get an eprom/CF combo and see if that helps.
