I have a couple of Golden Tee 2005 red boards and hard drives. One works, the other has issues. We know it's the hard drive. The "problem" hard drive makes the game play choppy, with pauses and freezes in both audio and video. When we swap in the "good" hard drive, the games both play perfectly. So, we know it's the hard drive. Now, the question...
Is the actual drive bad, or does it just need re-imaged? If I re-image it, do I need to somehow erase the "bad" image first, or just follow the instructions on the Killer Instinct CHDMAN page? Will the new image over-write/delete the bad stuff? Or do we think the actual hard drive is toast?
