I believe I have a good green board and a bad hard drive.
I don't suppose anyone might know where I could find a hard drive image or chd I could download? I've got plenty of old IDE drives laying around.

I'd be incredibly grateful.

I think I have one in my archives at home.

Send me a PM as a reminder for tonight.

I do NOT apologize for reviving this dead thread.

I've got THREE golden tee consumers, all with failing drives.

Ok, the truth is only ONE is actually failed - but with hard drives its not a matter of IF but WHEN.

I'll scare the one (here in Vancouver) into letting me back up his drive, maybe get paid, then flip a copy to the lady in Ontario and definitely get paid for that one.

Here's my charming email for posterity

Erm, what's wrong with just using the Golden Tee 2005 image that's out there, upgrading to 2.09 and imaging it onto a compact flash? I've been doing that for years

If I do that, how am i supposed to get paid for backing up a boomer's golden tee hard drive???? I would only get paid for the restoration

ok cool - is there a particular reason you use CF instead of an SD? They map better to IDE or something? I used to sell XD, SD, CF, all those competing formats in the bad old days and CF were considered "the best" albeit the biggest space hogs. I didn't know you could still get them. Where do you buy your boards and drives?
