Have a golden tee 2002

Been looking @ purchasing the following to allow me to use an lcd to replace the 25in monitor in the unit now

http://jrok.com/hardware/RGB.html

Just trying to understand since I'm new to all this if its possible, here is what the inside of the 2002 looks like now:

Just trying to understand what type of work is needed in order to use this device. Not really into electrical work, not opposed to trying, just want to understand the following:
1) will it work
2) any gotcha with what kind of lcd monitors i can use?
3) any instruction for newbies on the install of the unit?

I tried using a similar adaptor to display on a TV with a golden tee 2005 when my first arcade monitor died. It didn't work for me with the golden tee 2005, but I had a golden tee 2000 board it worked fine with. I believe it is due to the VGA card on the GT2005 board. I ended up using an averkey scan convertor coming directly off the VGA card until I managed to fix my monitor.

Anyone have experience with what works best for 2002 with the type of board I have?

Hate to be pest, just trying to understand with my gt 2002 green board system board with the video card attached above what the best option for me to use in order to output to lcd
