I've got a Golden Axe board that mostly works, but I've got some sprite errors. I've traced it to a bad MPR-12382 (Sega Mask rom, Object data, Location B3 of rom board version 834-7002-02). I used data set "Golden Axe (set 2, US) (8751 317-0112) ROM" and was able to verify everything else on the board except this chip, so it's got to be the culprit.

I had planned to replace the sega mask rom with a 27C1000 or similar, but my GQ-4X doesn't seem to like writing them. Does anyone have a spare of the original mask rom or the ability to program a 27C1000 with the appropriate data?

I'm just up in Laconia, NH if you want to bring the board up here someday. I can burn the ROM for you, and hook it up to my bench rig to make sure it works. I made my own Sega System 16B to JAMMA adapter a long time ago so it should be easy to test.
