My interest in GA has peaked since I'm working on my GA-TRODA 25" cabinet.

Selling my golden axe. When turned machine turns on but not able to get game to boot. Back door broken and cabinet in okay shape. Arcade is complete and was working well prior. Comes with manual. Trying to clear out my storage unit. If ad is up its still available.

I pick it up Thursday at his storage unit. Nice guy, I offered up the original asking price of $300 and he accepted. I also sent him a deposit. Thanks again for the heads up. I already have a working PCB for this so I'm super excited.

Total score! He had this listed about a year ago for around $700 if I remember correctly. Hopefully it just needs some socketed chips cleaned along with the edge connector, either way sounds like you're good.
I'm pretty sure this is a dedicated Golden Axe but because of the nature of dynamo cabinets you can never be too sure. Dedicated units are pretty rare. It should be in an HS-1. When you get it in your possession, please consider posting some detailed pics.
Hello all, so I'm back from Orlando with the Golden Axe, here are the pictures that I promised. It is a HS1 dedicated with labels intact. It's playing blind but has neck glow. The fella also had a Altered Beast that he said he had no idea if it worked. I gave $700 for the pair. The AB plays like a champ but the P1 kick isn't kicking yet. The guy was getting out of the hobby. These were both in a storage unit.

Nice catch and yet another confirmation about Golden Axe. There's been some so-called experts that actually spent decades claiming Golden Axe was a kit-only game. Any tags on the Altered Beast?

Thank you, the Golden Axe had a loose connection to the monitor and was the focus was blurry. Cap kit sticker was 5 yrs old so I just replaced the fly back. Looks crisp now. The kick issue on P1 was was a crossed wire. As soon as I turned the game on, it started a 2 player game. The kick button and player 1 wires didn't have a connector on the ends. The were just twisted onto the micro but the two were backwards. Easy fix.
