Going to San Fran, searching for Haight St Computer Space

Back in 2007, LOWTECH mentioned seeing a Computer Space that had been converted to a computer desk in an old book store on Haight St in San Francisco.

I am heading to San Francisco in March and I'm going to see if I can find this book store. Anyone know which one he was referring to? I did email all the existing book stores on Haight St recently but only a couple of them replied and no one knew whose store this was.

And, while I'm asking, does anyone have any other recommendations for "must see" retro or coin op places in San Fran? I've already been to that penny arcade at the pier. I played Death Race and Battlezone there and it was awesome.
Any other places people suggest I go to? Any good stores for "game chasing"?

you are obviously into the computer space games. goodluck with the search. post pics of and keep us updated. these fiberglass cabs can last forever very good chance this would still be around.

I was all over the city last October, besides the games at the Pier I only saw these 3 at a Taco Bell on Powell near Market street. I was shocked to see that PP was not working.........

If you keep walking way down height street, theres a little bar that has Medieval Madness and Theater of Magic pinballs on location (at least it did about a yeart ago)

you should be able to do a property recod search and find out who the prior owner was, then just do some google work and you just might be able to locate him and find out whatever happened to the Computer Space Computer. Good luck!
