Anything in particular that I should look for with this thing? I'm thinking acid on the boards firstly. It lights up but does not work. Playfield is very nice for the number of plays that are on it.I'd also like to know if there are any other common issues with these.

Thanks!!

It is pretty much the same as the other early bally SS games of that era. Most of them I've seen has cabinet fade. The mpu will be your main focus if it is not booting up.

Just did some reasearch and found that the same MPU is used in a ton of other bally pins so i feel I should be good in that aspect.

New repro MPU boards are available and might be the way to go. Repaired used ones are fairly cheap. It is a cool looking game but like most early SS games it wears fast for interest. These were made to suck a few quarters fast and thats about it. Not deep like a later 80s pin or 90s pin.
