Crispy Creme donuts are MUCH, MUCH, better. But I still prefer DD coffee! Unfortunately no Crispy Cremes around me anymore. There was one on the Berlin Turnpike several years ago but closed abruptly. Not sure why it closed as there was always a line of cars to get in that place. Still vacant to this day I believe.

I've always wanted to go there and have a donut and a famous cup of coffee. You know what pisses me off? They show Dunkin' Donuts commercials here in the SF Bay Area and there aren't even any Dunkin' Donuts here. What's that about?

Not sure if it's still there but there was a Dunkin Doughnuts in or around the San Jose CA area. Have to agree it's not that great. Krispy Kreme is better than Dunkin but I really can't eat more than one or two Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I really favor the mom and pop doughnut shops. Years ago there used to be Winchell's doughnuts in San Jose. I liked them. I believe they became yum yum but I never tried them.
