Going to be driving 14rs each way to get an original DK

Thank you. [emoji4]

The kids have been playing DK ever since we plugged it it. lol

Right on!

Search eBay for "Etone Donkey Kong". I put three sizes of them on top of the cab, with a 25K, 35K, and 50K bounty.

Also snagged some old Topps sticker card boxes for prizes.

I drove 13.5 hours to pick up an arcade game in San Jose area Once from LA. Dam traffic! It wasn't even my game.

That was longer than the 10.5 hours drive one way to San Fransisco.

Sorry I stumbled across this thread late, It would have been fun to offer a tour of arcade expo in banning.

Congratulation on your DK, It has gone to a good home.

1. Nice pickup, great adventure, congratulations!

2. Some will undoubtedly give you a hard time for the cumulative $2,017 price tag for a DK pickup. Pay them no mind. I've paid more than I should have for some games, but if you're getting what you want, when it's available to you, and YOU are happy with your purchase, then all is well. : )

Im right there with you brother.
I dont mind overpaying for something that my heart is set on and I really want (especially so if its really nice) :D
My keepers are my keepers and I'm not selling them so if I sometimes overpay for something that I'm never selling I think its irrelevant.

Super cool that you got it! Great story on it too!

Can't wait for better pics.

Congrats and glad you two made it home safely. Now get the multi kit!

:D

Or underpay and have a 4 car garage overloaded with projects.....hmmmmm. ;)

A place where 400 arcade machines mostly working hangout with about 700 pinballs.

I volunteer on the arcade side. I could have given you the Nickle tour of the place..

Nice. Well I'll take you up on a tour some other time. :)

Yah this..

In my experience the people who give the most shit to other people about "overpaying" are the same people who pick up every cheap shitty project within 250 miles and never get to it.

Ive met people with more project games piled up then an operator would have had back in the day.

Like crazy cat ladies only with machines.. just cant turn one down and it becomes an episode of hoarders.

$1400 for the game
$250 fuel
$200 for food and hotel
$167 for Colorado Highway Patrol escort when I left town....

Morrison known for speed trap I live 10 minutes away. I avoid if possible.

Looks clean. And great history.
