Going price for Gauntlet 1 cabinet with II running

Looks like a nice cab. I beleive number II is the more favorable board anyways. Scratch on the monitor? Not sure what that means. But yeah, $500.

I probably wouldn't pay more than $500 max for a mint/near mint one, with the original board. Maybe G2 was more popular? I never played it and may not have a clear perception of what i'm throwing a number at, but I'd throw $300-350 personally. However, if you like it that much you should do what you feel comfortable with. Does scratch on the monitor mean the monitor itself or the glass/plexi cover?

It's gotta be on the monitor, as Gauntlet had no glass/plexi bezel over that. I just can't figure out...uhm, so did some kid shoot it with a BB gun? Did a rock flip up off the road and chip it? Did someone try to carve their initials in it? LOL. I would guess the guy was using the game as a storage shelf for very sharp metal things. It's a good bet the control panel looks like swiss cheese too.

The 2 red joysticks are not correct either. They should all be the black Atari logo joysticks.

Yeah I was just thinking that about the CP. If the monitor has a good scratch from whatever, I can't imagine what a thin adhesive CPO went through over the years.

Thanks guys; thats what I thought. Its a younger guy in college and he did say the two sticks have been replaced (obviously!) Scratch may not be bad. Doesn't look like its full side art to me right?

Thanks arcadeannex. That's what i thought. Hopefully he'll reach out to me later about coming down on his price.
