Go7

Personally I would say very little. Maybe $20.
That's mainly for the chassis. I have a bunch of monitors with Pac burn, its non-burned monitors people tend to look for.

A working G07?

$50.

Especially if you have a Pac Man with a clean monitor in it that you can swap the G07 into.

G07's are the easiest to work on, most reliable monitors ever made (except for maybe the 4900).

It's worth more than $20 here.

right now its sitting in a converted pacman and the whole thing needs a ton of work so im trying to sell either the whole thing or just parts

Yeah- I'd say a working used monitor is worth $50. That would be just the chassis or including the frame/tube. It doesn't seem to make a difference.

If somebody local to you just wants the cab to MAME it, then keep the monitor and sell that separately if they have no need for it.

I used to sell working, recapped G07 chassis on ebay for $50 - $75 and then it seemed like people stopped buying and instead ship their chassis off to be repaired for $100 +.

Go figure.

I'd pull the monitor, give it a Deluxe rebild kit, swap the tube from a compatible 19" TV for free from CL, and have a mint, burn-free G07 monitor. NOW you're talking about a monitor that's worth something.

I'd never think twice about asking $150 for a rebuilt burn-free G07.

For that kind of money I would have put you in touch with Chris25810 until about 3 months ago. Now...not so much.

But if you need a ride in a Camaro...

Using TV tubes with arcade monitor chassis

In regards to using a 19 inch TV tube with a G07:

First you need to find a TV with a tube that has the correct pin out on the neck which would be compatible with the G07 neck board. Then you need to swap the G07 yoke to the new tube. After all of this is connected you need to adjust the convergence rings. Not very difficult, but a little time consuming.

I have torn apart several TVs and yet could not find one where the pins on the tube would work with the neck board of the G07.

Has anyone had any luck with certain brands or ages of TVs that they found to have the proper pin outs on the tube neck for the G07 neck board? Or, has anyone found TV tubes that have worked with other brands of monitor chassis.

Seriously? I've cracked open about a dozen TV's (older than 1990, mind you) and all but 2 of them were 10 pin tubes. I was starting to get frustrated because I'd already swapped tubes on almost every 10 pin tube monitor I had before I finally found a TV with an 8 pin tube for my necked K7xxx monitor.

Key point is to make sure the TV you're looking at is NOT a Sony Trinitron, or anything made in the last 15 years. Pre 1990 should be a pretty safe bet, and pre-1980 is pretty much a lock.

FYI - If you need to get rid of TV's that you can't use, or ones that you've swapped your burned/broken tubes out of, Best Buy will take any tube TV you want to recycle pretty much for free. Well, they'll charge you $10 for it, and then immediately give you $10 in store credit. I'm sure you can find a way to spend $10 there ;)

Thanks for the info. Guess I need to look for the older ones.
Also, I would just like to say how helpful this site is.
