So i am doing my first tube swap on a GO7 from a Missile Command I have that had some really bad targ burn-in:

I found a Mitsubishi TV with a model number that is supposed to have a tube that is a direct replacement. The vertical and horizontal resistance are similar enough: 2.2 and 2.3; and 51 and 53.

The problem comes with the sockets. Here is the tube pulled from the Missile Command:

And here is the donor tube:

And finally here is the neck board on the GO7:

So as I am sure you can see the original tube and the neck board sockets don't make use of two of the pins, which the donor tube has.

So, the question is, can I cut those two pins on the donor tube?

Sorry man that tube is an CR27 and a G07 is a CR23. So to answer the question is no you can't. But the differences might be signal RGB but I dont have a CR 27 adapter pinout to check.
