I pulled this monitor out of a MACH 3 i parted, unknow conditon. I put it into my Aero Fighters, and the picture is great, no burn or anything, but it wont stop scrolling from left to right. I have tried all the different sync hookups, according to Bob Roberts site, but it wont stop, it scrolls really slow and adjusting the pots i can get it to stop, then it wil start again, cant get it to hold still!!! Would a bad pot cause this? Im pretty sure i have the sync hook right, because if i pull that wire, grey, it goes way wacky, and i cant see anything. Aero Fighters is Jamma, and has a grey sync and maybe a yellow sync? But the yellow was never hooked up before with a different working monitor. I just had stolen that monitor for a frogger. Bobs site shows two differnt hookup ways for the grey and yellow wires for a GO7, but neither stops the scrolling. The yellow wire seems to have no effect, but the grey almost syncs it, hooked in wither the pisitive sync locstion or thr negative sync. What you guys think???? Bad pot?????

Hey Ken!!
Doesnt look like it, the pots seem loose though. I have capped a monitor chassis before, but its borderline beyond my ability. I do have the monitor out of the frogger, but it was making sizzling noises, no glow. Thought it was the flyback, but havnt checked further. I think it was a 4600 and i couldnt find a flyback when i had looked. There is a local tv and arcade monitor guy here in town, might take both monitors to him, and try to get at least one working when funds become available. Probably gonna look into selling Aero Fighters after that, kinda done playing it, maybe 200-300 if i can get monitor working for not too much money. i price low!!

figured out mine

the issue with mine was +b was to high causing a vert scroll with monitor set horz position
corrected +b

then horz scrolling was caused but not having both v and h syncs connected to sync on jamma harness
all 3 wires where installed black white and yellow but the yellow was not hook to the sync of the harness for some reason
doesnt effect my other monitors but i use my full positive sync connection on most of them.

either case check to make sure all three are conencted j1 (ground) j2 (vert) j3(horz)
in my case j1 ground j2 white j3 yellow

see if it helps if you havent already figured it out
