question is this........when it is cold and sometimes warm when you fire it up it takes3 to five minutes for the tube to light up........bad flyback starting to happen any suggestions would help.

Could be one of several possibilties.

Has it has a fresh capkit?

Does it have it's original flyback?

Have you inspected the solder side of the boards for bad solder joints?

Has the tube been tested on a rejuvenator to determine the tube's internal condition?

no cold soldering joints.......has the orignal fly back and just got a new cap kit for it but not putting it in until this weekend.........dont know about the tube.....did not do this trick until i put a diffrent chasis in so dont think its the tube.

B+ is tested at the larish white "ceramic" capacitor if I remember right... right? Should be like 105VAC?

If this has the original flyback and never had a cap kit and you do the cap kit normally the flyback goes out sooner then later. Also, the tube could probably use a rejuve. Like i said if the flyback is the problem and is weak and the cap kit is done and everything goes back to the proper voltages the flyback might pop and release a fine smell that last for days( it might take a few minutes to weeks). I always replace the flyback if it is original and the HOT so i dont here from the customer or service man again on the chassis.
