Ok, so i had an extra monitor kicking around.. it's a GO7, but a different version than the typical. It only has a negative sync, most of my games require a positive sync.. Bummer is, I had this recapped and the tube has Zero burn.. it's like a new monitor.. What am I to do with this thing? In my signature is a list of my games, could I use this in any of them? I was hoping it could go into my Moon Patrol or Galaga.. Thanks for any info..

humm..

i wonder if i have it wrong, if it's a positive and not a negative sync.. it was so late last night when i was going through the thing...

yes..

It is positive then, but it won't work with my Moon Patrol.. I need a Wells k4903, as it's the only one out there that will stretch enough...

Thanks for your help.

Try it in the MP anyway. The G07 will strech quite a bit (adjust the horizontal width & frequency). If not, at least you will have something to play until you find a 4903.

Also, if you haven't done it yet, get the MP free play ROMs from Scucci. They give the best of both worlds, free play and attract mode, so you wont get that "Press One Player" burn on the screen.

Ahhhhhhh... that MP. I can do MoonPatrol roms also, but I didn't write them. The MP he's talking about here is Ms. Pac-Man.

I just don't know what type of chips MoonPatrol uses... I really hope it's 2732, but knowing my luck... it'll be 2532.

Sorry, I must be misremembering who did the ROMs. Looking through some old PMs I see that MJenison has a set of patches hosted on his site:

http://www.enteract.com/~jenison/mars/romhacks/ has a java patcher program for applying the patches. You'll need to follow the instructions in the zip file. Let me know if any of the instructions need clarifying.

I'll keep looking for who actually built this set of patches.....

Mark Jenison wrote all the freeplay hacks that he hosts on his site.

I checked my PMs and I was misremembering. Mark wrote the Moon Patrol free play mods. I helped him by testing them in my Moon Patrol. Scucci wrote the Ms Pacman free play mod. I helped him by testing it in my Ms Pacman.

Mea Culpa, sorry for any confusion.
