Go7 cbo help

Was this monitor out of this machine?
If not did you use a Isolation Transformer?
Check diodes D901-D904

Did it work before rebuild?

the game didn,t work it had a white screen, trying too fix for a 60-1 ,my freind removed the monitor and took it too his shop.can the isolation transformer be bad? i think he tested it and it was high 138 volts?thanks

Is this is a Williams cab per chance? I have a thread around here somewhere about an isolation transformer in a Williams cab putting out about 138 volts, and a blown G07 that was in it (flyback had exploded)....

You said it had a "white screen" before the rebuild. So if the monitor had power then the 3A fuse would have been good. I would take the chassis out again and look for shorts/solder bridges. The degaussing coil circuit could also blow that fuse. What was done on the rebuild? Caps, flyback, HOT and regulator?

hi,ita snk guerrilla war cab,my freind did caps, flyback, hot.it didn,t blow fuse before?once we reisalled and plug it in turn it on it blew the fuse?thanks

Double-check all your solder work, and make sure all the caps are in properly.

When you replaced the HOT or VR, did you remember to put the insulator between them and the wall?

Check the wires on the back of the voltage regulator (see picture). Make sure the VR 2SC1106 is on the left side and the HOT 2SD870 is on the right side. Make sure the MICA insulator is on both. I bet the wires on the VR are reversed.

believe it or not, if the rest of the chassis is good, switching those wires won't blow the fuse. it'll just make the B+ run about +165...
