A friend gave me a capkit for a go7 cbo chassis but no instructions. Where can i find these ? The monitor is in a ms.pac. The monitor works but has has white lines going through it(jailbars).

Desolder old cap. Replace with new cap of same value from kit, keeping the polarity correct. Solder in new cap. Trim leads of new cap. Repeat until done.

Jailbars are a sign that you have a problem with the fuseholder in the bottom of the cabinet. Bob Roberts sells replacements. These are also called hum bars if they roll across the screen from side to side.

Don't forget that C302 is marked incorrectly on the bottom of the chassis. The top is correct. Don't install it backwards or it will blow.

Hum bars (they move) are caused by the fuse holders. Dim lines are jail bars, which are caused by caps. White angled lines (thin ones) are retrace lines, and are caused by the brightness/screen control being up too far.

Update: I had the capkit installed. When you turn either the brightness or focus on the flyback all it does is make the screen blurry. Last night I had a friend install a brand new flyback & it still looks as if the brightness is up way to high but still the controls for brightness & focus do nothing except make the screen blurry. Is it possible the tube is bad ?

Forgot to mention game plays fine. No humbars. Just thin white lines. The fuse holders were replaced as well.
