out of a ms pacman. monitor was dead, in HV shutdown. after re-cap, has an image and B+ is rock steady at 120. the image is too narrow for the screen, and wont hold still vertically, cant adj out a roll. however, if i increase the brightness knob on the flyback, the raster image does fill out the screen. im using RGBgnd on pins one-4, and neg sync on pin 6. could i be wrong on that? the game uses the other 3 pin connector for sync, should i be using that with the TPG? i knd of remember using the 3 pin on the last GO7 i worked on, but its been a while.
if its not that, what should i be looking at.
thanks

try it on a game board and see if you have the same problem because the tpg doesn't allows show the same image as the game pcb.

Negative Composite Sync:

ON THE TPG:
TPG dip 6 on, 7 off, 8 on
R-G-B-GND on the 6 pin and empty-sync-sync on the separate 3 pin on the TPG

ON THE GO7
R-G-B-GND on the 6 pin and empty-sync-sync on the separate 3 pin

using the H and V sync to the 3 pin connector did the trick with the TPG. the only other issue is i cant get the screen centered, see pic. any ideas?

thanks
