Ok, I know I should have taken a picture before I pulled the chassis but I didn't...

I recapped this 19"GO7 about 5 months ago for a friend. It was fine until just recently when the screen turned blue and it has verticle lines about 1" apart across the screen. You can still play the game/see all the characters/ all sounds are present. I swapped out the flyback with no change. Any ideas? Thanks, Andy

Now, by vertical lines, I assume you really mean slightly angled horizontal lines, but since the monitor is mounted vertically, they appear vertical...

Is the screen really, really, really blue? Does turning the blue cutoff control have no affect? If so, then I'd suspect either the blue transistor, or the picture tube. Easy enough to check, swap the blue neckboard transistor with another one (either the red or the green) and see if the problem moves. If it does, then it's the transistor. If it doesn't, then it's probably the tube.

Of course, it could be something else too. Here is where a picture would help greatly.
