Go away heat. I have way to many projects to work on in my garage!!!

Anyone else battling this heat wave? My shop is unbearable and my garage isnt much better. I have like 5 machines in the garage that Ive been trying to tinker with but just cant stay in the heat for more than 30 minutes at a time. Currently 109 degrees in there. fml

God only 30 years old and I cant take the heat...

I have 2 cabs that need to be Citri-Stripped and i refuse to start untill the temps get below 75.

Im a dealer for snap on tools so Im in and out of my truck all day in this crap. The weekend rolls around and all I want to do is lay around like a bum. I have too many machines in pieces right now. Its been at least 97-100 everyday for the past 3 weeks.

Man, we can see our breath at 109° in Phoenix...

These "heat threads" always crack me up.

Oh, and inb4 "Yeah, well... AZ is a dry heat."

So's a flame. Or an oven.

Also, sorry to hear it's miserable. But I would trade places in half a heartbeat.

Been 105 outside the past 2 weeks here, and even hotter in the garage. Yet I've been out there (two fans on) rebuilding monitor chassis for folks....

Dallas in triple digits for past 30 days. I've been sweating my ass off and I'm still a fatty. I'm making progress, it's nice to see my floor again. I even found some pliers today that I've been looking for... :)

I decided to work on the car instead of games this weekend. I replaced the valve cover gaskets on a 2JZ-GTE. Big mistake. It was so frikkin hot I was wiped out after I was done. Not so good when you have a bunch of games to repair. I normally hate the winter, but I'm ready for some cool weather (and some rain)!

lol!...............:D

Yeah, here in MI it's only been in the low 90's but high humidity kicks yer ass. I went to simply hook up a board in the garage to test it and 10 minutes later you'd think I just ran around the block 6 times!!

believe me i hear that. I have my truck all torn apart and in BARE METAL since this winter. I have a furnace out there so i was able to work on it here and there during the winter months no problem. We went from too cold to too hot i literally did not have alot of time before the heat came, now its just too damn hot to work on in there..

Let's start a " It's so hot....how hot is it??" thread!

"It's so hot, I saw squirrels fanning their nuts."

Sorry you're having probs from the heat.
IMO, bring the heat baby! Albeit, I live in NE Ohio, but it was 92+ today and I mowed two lawns. Did I sweat profusely? YES. But it's a heck of a lot bettter than freezing ur azz off!!!!

Where's your "It's so hot" joke?

It's so hot, I saw 2 trees fighting over a dog today.

laughs.

With all these heat and listening to people suffering in the heat. I think we need to work on a solar power air conditioner. Water can be boiled by the heat of the sun and fed into a steam engine. I wonder how much torque and HP we can generate to run your typical freon compressor?
The hotter it gets the colder your place might get.
