Hello all and good morning/afternoon!!
I recently got some NASCAR's and would like to make them better before passing along to new owner. I was doing some wire maintenance inside, because that stuff drives me nuts when it's just thrown together, and realized the previous owners just had a surge protector passing through instead of using the built in isolation transformer, so I tried to USE that transformer but I'm not getting voltage out.. SO 2 questions:
1.) Is it WORTH fixing/replacing the isolation, or how can I better test it?
2.) Should I just use a surge protector and bypass the isolation transformer all together?

Any and all suggestions related to this project would be welcomed!!
