This puppy is pretty clean. I gave it a good general cleaning and had to reflow the video connector pins on the monitor chassis. It has a little under 25,000 clicks on the meter and is serial number 00018. It has apparently been in someones home for about 20 years. I swapped out the rollers in the player 1 trackball. They were rough! I don't think they have ever been replaced. The monitor chassis looked untouched.

The top seems to share some of the same badass graphics and colours as the upright which i really dig.

Nice score man, would find room for that in my collection too. Did you get a good deal on it?

Nice avatar btw. Thanks everyone. I had a nice upright years ago, among other things that I should have kept(Space Duel, Pengo, 720, Mappy, and a Tempest cocktail that was about as clean as this CC!) I hope to hang onto this one. The fiance digs it, that's a plus.

Hey, thats pretty cool! I had a chance to play a CC cocktail at the Houston Expo last year. Very cool looking cabinet.

Is Crystal Castles a 2010 must have? Kind of sound like it.

I've wanted one and I let a real nice one slip through my fingers last year, and I'll always regret it.

Nice get.

Yes they are a must have!

Wait I am only saying that because I just scored one not too long ago. :p

25K is a lot of quarters for a game that was home-owned for 20 years.

I'll bet most of that is from kid-clicking 50 credits at a time

I would agree if it were $25,000 but it's actually 25,000 quarters which is $6250. Let's just say, for arguments sake and nerdyness, the game was originally purchased in 1984. The operator could have operated it for 6 years and then sold it in 1990 to the home owner. Based on that, it would have only had to average about $20 a week over six years to add up to $6250. It probably made the bulk of it's earnings in the first 2 years of operation. Sorry for responding to this right after having a cup of coffee :)
