The ramp switch is working in test mode but doesn't work during game play.
So when you are in jungle run or Kona mode's the switch doesn't register.
We tried to manually activate the switch by hand and with a ball but no go.
Since it works in test mode I don't think it is the switch.

Goofy stuff like that is sometimes causd by garbage in the ram. Turn the game off and pull the battery, let it sit for a minute or two then put it back in and restart the game. you'll need to reprogram it afterwards. Good luck.

I have no way to reprogram a ram chip.
Do you know which chip it would be?

Anyone know what and where to get a switch for the ramp?
Is it just a switch or is a switch with wire attached?
The machine is over at my uncle's house so I can't look at it.

Micro mini switch.

Any that work in test but fail game play replace. They have crap inside and work slowly and the machine tends to ignore it.

LTG :)

I have a friend that has the game and it was doing the same thing. I fixed it but don't remember what I did. I'll contact him and see if he remembers.

Thinking a little more on this. If I remember correctly it was due to a problem with the island not rotating. Since it did not rotate the software would not drop the ramp during the game. I fixed the island so it would rotate correctly and then the ramp worked during the game.

My friend was able to remember what I did. There was a set screw on the island that wasn't tight and was preventing the island from spinning correctly. I tighten down the set screw and it fixed the island spinning problem and then the software allowed the ramp to drop. Hope that helps.
