Hi there,

Looking at getting my first pin and found a Gilligan's Island for around $1300. It is missing the DMD, start plunger, and the front metal rail above the coin door. Very minor playfield wear, needs a good cleaning and probably some things shopped. I've only seen pictures so far.

I've looked at a few price guides and it seems a little on the high end. But am new to pins. Any thoughts on rough value here?

Thanks!

That's not too bad. You're looking at about 300 more in parts to get it complete, but still not bad for a 90's DMD, these days. Gilligan's is a simple but fun pin. Also, the first DMD pin to roll off the line.

I've only played this game a few times. I can certainly see where the music would get very annoying. And its gameplay is lacklustre.
It may not be a game you want to keep for long.

But at $1300, its hard to go wrong. I'd have to think an operational Gilligans Island would sell in the $1800 - $2000 range.

make sure you know whats working and whats not.. that game has allot of parts and gadgets to get working like the rotating volcano thing.

Its one of those games when you do see one its almost never fully working.

Its not a common game so some parts may be impossible or hard to come by if you need them.

"It is missing the DMD, start plunger, and the front metal rail above the coin door. Very minor playfield "

are you sure this is the only thing wrong with the pin?
im assuming the machine can still be turned on without the DMD ?
