The pcb is not complete but is in very nice condition.

Missing the hard to find "C" board, and the chips circled in the pic (which can be burned easily and added)

Not sure what to ask for this, so its a make me an offer thread :)

I know the die hard Ghouls'n Ghosts guys will want this and know where to get the C board.

Sorry guys, forgot to mention, I will give it until tomorrow 4pm. Highest offer takes it. Keep the PM's coming.

Cheers. :)

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the boards are untested since I could not find the correct C board to get it tested.

So I was just notified that the "C" board from a Strider would work with this pcb. I wish I knew this before. That C board is easy to find. Too late now. Sale will continue.

I will try to get the above confirmed, so dont take it as 100% certain a Strider C board will work in it.

Well it's not as simple as that. A few Striders have the 88622-C-1 with the B-01 chip (IE the same as Daimakaimura). Those should work with Daimakaimura because they are the exact same board/chip. However I've really only seen those on the Japanese versions..they could be on the US versions, but they are much rarer. A few Striders also have a 88622-C-2 board with the B-01 chip as well. They SEEM to be the same as the C-1 with the B-01 chip, but this isn't confirmed.

Will this work with it guys?

If it will, I will include it in the offer, and extend till tomorrow at 4.

I just happened to find this in a box on my shelf:

No, it will not work, the same '88622-C-2' silkscreening means nothing. This C-BOARD carries the CPS-B-03 which is an ASIC with different internal structure than CPS-B-01 (it's used on Willow). Here you can find the C-BOARD table and cross reference:

http://www.arcadecollecting.com/info/cps-b_numbers.html

Try to find a CPS-B-21 C-BOARD instead (they are pretty common), this should be 100% compatible with CPS-B-01.

Holy moly, according to that list, 17 pcbs have the CPS-B-21 "C" board.

I have a King of Dragons pcb right beside me, but I would feel terrible to take from that.

Guys, I have to be honest, with the offers I received so far, I am better off finding a compatible "C" board, burning the missing roms and selling it for big bucks on fleabay. This pcb set is extremely uncommon.

Anyways, I will see what will happen till 4, but $100 offers (shipped) will not cut it, sorry :)

The most common CPS-B-21 would be SF2 CE/Hyper, and that is why you'll find those board sets used for Ghouls & Ghosts conversions.

What did you expect on klov?

I agree. I'd be one to offer $100 as well (I didn't). lol

this non-tested pcb should rake in $250-500 easily. Without blinking.

Putting this on eBay, I'm willing to wager it'll nab $400-600 range, maybe higher.

Yeah, I'll burn the roms and test it later this week with the SFCE "C" board I have lying around.

If the offers don't cut it just keep it for yourself. We all know you're good dude, nobody would be pissed at you if you decided to keep it because of the new info. Anyway GLWTS.

Thanks man. I appreciate the kind words. I would keep it for myself, but......and I hope to offend no Capcom lovers, I just dont have any love for these style games. So I will get her working and put it up on the bay eventually.

The new information does help, and I am thankful for it, but ultimately this will end up in another collectors hands one way or another :)
