Hello there, one more adventure with Arthur...

My GnG bootleg board from tomorrow is having a tantrum once again, I see some weird dots on Arthur, like red dots, when I lifted the board from the table the dots were gone (I have it sitting horizontally on the table, on the 4 standoffs), if I press down on the board the errors get worse, if I lift it a bit the sprites are correct,

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Push down on every chip one at a time. You will know your culprit when the artifacts go away. That chip has a bad connection somewhere. Inspect the chip. Reflow if it's looks ok.

Being that it's a bootleg, any information regarding GnG pcbs won't be much help.

It goes away when I simply lift one side of the board, if I push it down anywhere it goes worse, could it be a cold solder joint somewhere? Someone told me about that, I completely forgot about that being a possibility, these bootleg boards have some sketchy soldering sometimes.

The way you lift the board is making a good connection. Take note where you lift it from, the board could be flexing. Where are the stress points, etc. it very well could be cold solder joints

Will have a better look, in the cab it was mounted sideways so it didn't have problems, solution is, buying a cab! :)
