I have a SFII Champ edition to Ghouls N Ghosts conversion and I paid about 150 with shipping for the SFII board and then about 60 to have it converted. That gets you to 210.

I don't think it's unreasonable.

This is a very good point. SFII CE on here runs between 140 and 160 plus shipping. Then either you can do the conversion yourself and have to use ~20 in eproms, or you pay someone else to do it, plus shipping both ways and it adds up.

Anyhow, for better or for worse, I'm the guy who bought it. I feel bad about killing an SFIICE board myself (I couldn't care less about the game, but others do), so better buying one already converted and leaving another SFIICE intact for guys who actually play SF.

I didn't want to kill my working SFII Champ Edition, but I ended up buying an arcade machine with a mint SFII Hyper Fighting board inside. I had the converter salvage the original Champ roms (incase I wanted to convert my Hyper Fighting to a Champ) and I converted the board to GnG. Personally, for me it was worth it.

^this. I didn't make any money off this board, just got back what i originally invested. Only sold it because i have an original usa board now. Looks like i have a new name to add to my "not sell to" list, 2 posts and already off to a good start. Welcome to KLOV.

I get that. I'm out maybe $15 from having done it myself to a CE board. I really can't be upset about that. And I'd never play CE, so having the old roms is a non-issue for me.
