Ghouls n Ghosts (not mine) SoCal

Yes, I did. I saw it on Craigslist and ran like the wind to get it. It needs some work, but it's one I've been hoping to cross off my list for awhile now.

I came here to see what I could find out about it (how readily available replacement parts were and such), saw your post, and registered to reply. Ghouls 'n' Ghosts was the second game I ever owned for the Sega Genesis aside from the old Altered Beast pack-in, and Ghosts 'n' Goblins and I go way back, too, so to be able to get my hands on this one was a major thrill.

Congrats thats awesome man. What kind of work does it need? What part of socal you from?

Thank you! Quite a bit of mostly minor stuff, actually... it's got a bunch of cabinet repair coming to it, but nothing a good sand/bondo/repaint won't fix up nicely. The marquee looks great, but it's housed behind another piece of glass that's cracked up along the edges. The CPO is bubbled off the panel on the left side, but it's got the plastic protector over it so aside from the bubbling it looks nice... I might be in the market for a new CPO soon, though. The coin mechs have been removed and I could be happier with the credit button's responsiveness; again, though, shouldn't be a tough fix. I haven't opened it up yet, but that's why God created weekends. ;)

Aside from that, it works great! It looks old... well-worn, let's say, but I'll spiff it up nicely here soon!

I'm in the I.E., a full-fledged citizen of the 909 area code. In fact, I'm looking up at a sky which is a lovely shade of grey-yellow right now. Yuck.
