Ghouls n Ghosts Dynamo HS5 Project

Now that it's the spookiest time of year I can finally show off my first arcade project!

Ghouls n Ghosts: Dynamo HS5 cab.

I got this Dynamo cab for pretty cheap last winter from a neighbour, but it was in pretty bad shape (pic 3).

The cab was originally a Neo Geo reproduction. Since it wasn't an original Neo Geo I didn't feel bad fixing it up with something new inside.

I did some research and came across Ghouls n Ghosts, a game that was typically put in a Dynamo HS1 cab back in the day.

I fixed up the body myself (pic 4) and ordered the vinyl artwork, marquee, and bezel from a local shop before installing it.

Speaking of the bezel, I had to add to the original artwork to make it work with an HS5 cab (25 inch screen), since the original bezel artwork was for an HS1 cab (19 inch screen). I think this actually turned out really nice! ...but you be the judge

This is probably the only Dynamo HS5 Ghouls n Ghosts cab out there (which is pretty neat).

I also added some modern amenities, including:

- New red/blue LED arcade buttons

- Smart LED behind the Marquee

- PC inside running Retro Arch through J-PAC/EmuDriver

Incredible JOB… Nice work… I love this game… played many many times at Galloping Ghost in IL.
