GHOULS 'N GHOSTS

Where else can you slay monsters and demons in your underwear? And not be on acid.
I'm terrible at the game but i absolutely love it. Ghouls' N Ghosts will soon be accompanied by Ghosts N Goblins.

I want to say thanks to Troy (Takeman) for selling me this beautiful original game. It was much easier to take it to the next level compared to most of the other games i start with.

Built brand new black melamine cabinet
Cleanup/restored inside guts: power supply, wire harness, PCB, etc.
Stripped and powder coated all metal parts, bolts, brackets, etc
Stripped and powder coated coin door, custom cap com logo inserts
restorations i didn't have any experience with coin doors yet)
New glass monitor bezel
New T-molding
New Locks
New Vinyl Casters
New Power Cord
New Speakers
Original unfaded marquee (just need a few tiny touchups)
Original control panel in fantastic shape
NOS Bezel
New Repro side art,
Hand cut black matte board monitor shroud
Original burn-free gorgeous monitor
New restored, dedicated monitor bezel art (made by me - took fricken forever to make) see thread here: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=226429&highlight=ghouls+bezel

I've never seen one of these that hasn't been a beater. I just looked through your other recent resto threads, and its cool that you pick some different games for projects.

Your attention to detail is unreal, and the results are stunning. Nice work, dude!

VERY nice machine. A bit odd that you've got the US artwork with the Jap version of the game though.

You are so damn negative!

Anyway great job Fizgig!!! I love it!!!! Looks so amazing! I am going to have to settle for converting a SF2 board to GnG.

:) That's the board that came with it. Besides the title screen everything else is in English, time, top score, start, player, game over. So what's really different between the two versions?

Thanks for all the compliments!

Nothing at all, in fact the Daimakaimura title screen looks way cooler. I used to do the code on my genesis to switch the title screen.

Hewitson is being his normal negative contrary self. Ignore him. :D

I would have commented on this early this morning but i commented on the other. this is absolutely badass, i would absolutely love to have a evil cabinet in my collection. I would call it the fourth temptation of the broodwich.

One of the few pieces that actually look good from gameongrafix
although i did have to cut out one of the round corners because the plotter missed by about 2 inches.

Awesome job - it looks like it just came out of the factory!!!

Who did the Side Art for your cabinet ??

I can't believe how your cab looks as if it just rolled right off the assembly line before you took pics, nice work. The wood on the inside looks freshly cut, with fresh paint and artwork. Can't find anything wrong at all, nicely done. Did you make the custom capcom coin button decals? I heard this game is one of the harder/expensive projects out there.
