Getting Gauntlet Legends to run on NFL / NBA Sports Station?
Hi guys,
I'm having trouble trying to get Gauntlet Legends to run on my NFL Blitz/NBA Sports Station... I've bought a new Obsidian2 video card, swapped out 2 different boot (v1.5/1.6) & security chips, and 2 different hard drives v1.6 (all of which are supposed to be working). No matter what I do, it keeps stopping at the number 6 on the board when it tries to boot up. I'm getting 5.20 volts on the board so this shouldn't be the problem. When I put all of the Sports Station chips back in, change video cards, and hook up the SS HD, it all works fine. Does anyone know if a bad Gauntlet audio chip could cause all of this? The reason I ask is because I've only got one of these and I don't know if it's good or bad. Could someone try popping out their audio chip on a working GL and see if you get the same error?
I'm tempted to get the Dark Legacy upgrade and try that, but I'm worried I'll still get the dreaded number 6 error...
Thanks for any help!
