Getting a game into VAPS that does not exist in VAPS?

What's the procedure on that? I've acquired a game that has very little info on it out there (even short game play video I have taken, is only actual game video apart from a MAME video of it).

I want to add info for it and show it in my VAPS profile. :D

Submitted. Uploaded my two images too, but the option was a link to click "when done uploading", and it went to a 404 dead page. Hope it all went through. :)

i also tried submitting but got a 404 error. it'd be nice to have the database updated with the newer Sterns since a lot of those are going to collectors.

If I remember correctly it goes through the voting system until enough people have voted and get it to the right percentage of confirmed votes? I'm not sure exactly what makes it "done" but I don't think it's time as I've seen a lot of votes stuck in limbo for a LONG time and some I've submitted and they come through pretty quickly.

http://www.arcade-museum.com/members/vote.php this is where votes are cast, though I don't think many people really know to go on there and do it anymore. Casting votes for it will get it through faster I'm pretty sure. I do know it's still vote based and not as simple as someone "approving" it though I guess at the top level there might be someone who goes through and has to click accept on submissions that have good votes. Not totally clear on that.

I think enough people have fun chickens, flintstone, etc machines that they should be entered in the database. Specifically Fun Chicken :)

I could be wrong.... but I think the last STERN pinball that was added to the database was TRON pro / les

Correct. I've asked multiple times across multiple threads to have the newer Stern titles added, but I get crickets every time.

I'll give this form a shot later tonight. What the hell...

Yes, this info has been stagnant for 3+ years. A machine I own (Sonic Missile Command) has had pictures of the cab waiting for the 2 years I have owned the machine, 1 year the previous owner had it, and God knows how long while gorfchampion owned it before him.

So glad to see the mandatory donations are going to a worthy cause like.... wait, what DOES it go towards? Oh yeah, funding of a fake ass museum (read personal collection). Shame such a needed resource as the database isn't allowed to be updated periodically.

At this point I'd be willing to volunteer to be the guy to put the new submissions up and clear them myself, got enough downtime at work to do it god knows and there's no way I'd get 2 years behind at least... would be kind of fun honestly...

you could email them about it but they probably don't check that either

I volunteered to do this over a year ago. Was told I could by Mclemore. Then nothing....

Shake as I would love to help and know how to.

We at least have other moderators/admins on the forum here, they should appoint or provide access to additional trusted people to help maintain the database.

Here's my submission, added a vote myself too::
