I was able to play 100% as if i not touch right flipper at all!!!!!!!

i had anaylized and realize .. it could be switch itself..

I decide to remove switcher and noticed there is three connectors..

im assuming on the

left side. it is upper flipper..
middle is some kind of ground..
Right side.. it s lower right flipper..

when i lightly hit right button and it would touch middle and right. it would activate BOTH FLIPPER with out hitting left metal side.

i decide to remove the right side and touch left and middle. NOTHING responsive. I decide to touch Left and right sides. NOTHING. just middle and right side.. it would activate both flipper and immediately reset the machine.

im like... the system should be like this..

right hits middle. Lower right flipper activate.

then middle hits right and hits left. Both flippers activate right?

Advise????

power board.. i mean that driver board.. the biggest one in backbox.. the heatsink recifier and all other caps had been replaced by one of SPG and still problem..

for the fun.. i m so mood to set this getway outside and use my 20 lb slede hammer!!!

so far.. both flippers has two diodes on each coils..

one guy came and replaced the capciator and other stuffs on power board under the heat sink..

still an issue.

it kept bothering me because one of my friend in rocklin.. he has getaway..

i took out ALL boards (5 of em) in back box and tested out swapping one by one in his getaway and ALL WORKS FINE on his getaway.

this is why i felt it s something else.

Check/replace the bBridge rectifier on the fliptronics board..

got up from nap!!! to prvent me to sledge hammer on the pin! lol.. im ready to go back and work on that $^@&... i tested outlet wall plug voltage and its hows 116.4-116.8 VAC.. i tested on the surcharge plug that i used.. it come out same 116.4-116.8 VAC

There is the plug zone inside the pinball. I tested that one with powering off the machine.. it shows 116.4-116.8 VAC. While Powering up the machine and tested that plug inisde the machine and it shows... 113.8-113.9 VAC

what s next? I appreciate the step to step help!..

so far i know the measure ment on the outlet wall and i tested 5 boards in the back box in different getaway and it works GREAT with no reset problem..

Remember I was able to play machine 100% with out hitting right flipper..

it gotta be somwehre with right flipper button line.

Have you checked the actual power coming out of the wall outlet?

That could be the issue...

other thing is..

I went ahead and go to switch test and i hit left buttons flipper. i see two dots appearing.

i hit right button.. i see 4 dots appearing.. normal?

i tested out and left side of switch hits the middle.. it shows 1 dot with nothing activate.. no flipper has been moved... if i touch middle and right side of switch.. 3 dots appears and both upper and lower right side flipper activate.. normal or shouldnt be like that??

thanks

The right flipper activates 2 coils and sets of switches on both coils... the left only 1...

That is also probably why it's resetting because 2 coils are activating. That's why alot of people post problems of other games resetting when BOTH flippers are pressed. (On a game with only 2 flippers)

i dont have manual for this getaway.. anybody could tell me the accurate number coil for the bottom right and top right?

i tested left flipper with super charge. It has the coil too.. and it doesnt reset.. only right side..

even i tested left button with the lifting ramp up and down.. it s ok..

again.. QUESTIONS is.. check picture and hope you can tell me if it s normal or not.

Did you replace right side flipper coil?

guess what..

i called tech guy and he came by and tested the machine and everything s good..

he didn even do anything.. im like... damn..

i turned machine off and leave it be for good 30 minutes..

then power on and immedately plays.. hit right flippers and it reset..

i decide to leave it on for few minutes.. good 3-5 mins and reset stopped..

WEIRD!! i ll give it few more rounds and see if warming up the machine solves the reset problem..

just d/l the manual from ipdb....

PROBLEM CAME BACK AND I SOLVE THE PROBLEM !!! it was simple fix.

okay.. the switch has only one bolt.. it was supposed to have two bolt to hold it real good to prevent from sliding away from the button.. Once it slides away and the metal part touches the COIL plunger. Thats where reset problem occurs.

i moved the switch back to orgins places and no reset..!!!

im like DAMN!! i knew it was switch area problem!!!!

thanks klov for trying to help!! you guuys ROCKS!!
