Are all you guys okay? The flooding around here got BAD. About 3 or 4 roads right outside our neighborhood got washed out.. Also, how are your games? With 20 inches of water, I fear that not everyone's games made it out alive :(

Here's footage from my area:

That's the road I take to school, hence me not being there today.

We moved to WI from Norcross a little less than 3 years ago. It's crazy to see the stories, pictures, and video from down there knowing where everything is actually going on. Did I hear right that parts of Buckhead are flooded? Apparently our old apartment complex in Norcross is under some water. Also my father in law's old house that he sold a couple years back is flooded. Sucks because he built that place himself.

Hope everyone down there is doing okay.

The picture I saw at lunch which was staggering was that of 6 Flags Over Georgia, where parts of the rollercoasters were under water.

What's even stranger is that this time last year the area was going through the worst draught in history. Water was being rationed, lakes were bone dry ... and now this.

Very Strange. Good Luck and Be Safe!

doing good here in newnan, ga. we are just south of atlanta. i didnt think the rain would ever quit. today was very warm and sunny. go figure.

Everythings OK here in Lawrenceville. We are pretty high up, and lots of drainage around here so no flooding that I know of in the immediate area. Sprang a few leaks in the roof but that's about it.

Good to hear you guys. I managed to stay safe as well, but a lot of people in my immediate area weren't so lucky. I think my neighbors got about a foot of water running through their 1st floor.

That actually happens quite often there.
FORTUNATLY, my house is on a hill, and got a new roof early this year. My wife said alot of schools were also either closed or delayed. I haven't even had 1/8th of an inch of rain since I got here to Afghanistan in June. but oddly enough we had a 2 minute hail shower in mid July! Crazy!
