Helping another with his Genesis pinball machine.

The problems started with a flipper not working. Turned out to be a dirty EOS switch I believe. Next was a ground issue on one of the pop bumpers (a wire was loose in the ground molex connector at the bottom of the cabinet).

There was also a switch not working (the one that releases a ball from the outhole back into the shooter lane). That was an open diode on the remote diode board. I removed the last diode that did not have a corrorsponding switch, and put it in place of the broken one.

The last problem is the one I am having a problem figure out. (as far as i can tell, it did this all the time while I was fixing the other problems.) Any switch in the 7th row triggers all of the switches in that column. so switch 71 triggers 11,21,31,41,51,61,71. 72 triggers 12,22,32,42,etc. 74 was originally the one that did not work, because of the open diode. after that was fixed, even that one triggered all switches in column 4.

Anyone have any insight as to why all of the 70's trigger everything in their corrorsponding column?
