Genesis reproduction ramp delivery

Hey guys, I think that he may have some issues. He emailed me and said he was sending me all the ramps, NOS set I sent him, and the molds. If this is true, when I recieve everything, I will ship them out to you guys. I apologize times a million about the way that the manufacturer has been replying to your emails.

I never got any email updates but was CC'ed on 1 exchange a long time ago.
I do feel bad for Tim, he does reply when I email him. However, the excuses or fact about the paint issues are too much.
Clear unpainted ramps would be better than what is on any Genesis I have ever seen and a few purple or pink LED's in the area could actually look better.

BUT PLEASE TIM, KEEP US UPDATED
 
Doing my best. The package is supposidly on the way to me with all the ramps he has made, along with my NOS set. Once I recieve that, I will send them out in the order that I recieved orders. If there aren't enough ramps, I will refund the the purchase price to those who won't recieve ramps. My apologies again for the delays, etc. My manufacturer has turned out to be someone I most likely wouldn't work with again.

I paid him months ago, back when all of you guys sent me the money. Before i accepted money from any of you, he sent me a sample set that was awesome. Once I paid him, he sent out a few sets, but people were complaining about the quality. I told him that, and he told me they were being whiney. I convinced him that we need to do better ramps, and so he "retooled". I haven't seen any ramps since, except for in pictures. He now claims he is sending me all the sets he made, so hopefully I will have a good update later this week, or early next week.

Throughout this whole thing, I have had more and more suspicions about the way he would reply to me, and apparently to you guys too. I think he may be unstable, but am really just trying to get the ramps from him, so I can send them to you guys. I will also have my NOS set back to, so if I don't have enough repros to cover everyone, I will be sending the NOS set to one of you as well.
 
C'mon everybody, cut Tim a little slack here.

He is obviously very dedicated to delivering a product to everybody, you can tell by the number of times he has told us that they would be shipping soon.

He is also showing an incredible amount of empathy by telling us about all the problems he's having with his unstable/dishonest manufacturer. We all understand his pain, as we have had quite a few problems with an unstable/dishonest seller over the past several months.

Tim paid thousands of (our) dollars to this guy, and guy failed to deliver a product to him. He could have sold his Theater of Magic last month to cover his debts, but because he's dedicated to shipping us quality ramps he decided to trade it away instead!

Currently Tim has nothing more than the original set of ramps to lose on this transaction unless we all take action.

If I have received nothing by August 24th (exactly 6 months after I paid him) I will be filing a complaint. I urge you all to join me, as a dozen complaints will certainly get the FBI to pay him a visit.

Well, we all just found out who the biggest prick around here looks to be. Jesus.

The FBI? Over this? Are you serious? You're like the idiot customers that tell me they're going to sue the company I work for over their service being down for 3 days (About 4$ out of their monthly fees..) and go to the BBB over it.....when their contracts aren't service level contracts, with no guarantee of uptime, LOL.

Once again, I would go with the guy who took our money 1/2 year ago and has been feeding us lies ever since.

Class action suits cannot be heard in small claims court. The Internet Crime Complaint Center is the standard place to report things like this. Multiple people in different jurisdictions have been defrauded by Tim. I would certainly sue your company if my service was down for 6 months and you refused to refund my money.
 
I am not "defrauding" anyone. I have updated everyone with the info as I received it. I want to thank the people here for being understanding for the most part, and reiterate that I am following up on this on a daily basis. We are hopefully very close to having this done.

Allrighty then, etymology lesson time:

Defraud - To take something from by fraud

Fraud - a person who makes deceitful pretenses

Deceitful - (of a person) Deceiving or misleading others, typically on a habitual basis.

Pretenses - An attempt to make something that is not the case appear true.

So, you took the money and have habitually misled us about the ramps "shipping out later this week" when that has never been the case.

We are hopefully very close to having this done.

Man, I really hope so too.
 
Any reputable shipping service would have gotten the packages to you by now.

I have offered to send him money to pay for the shipping, and also asked if there is someone else in his household that could take the time to go to the store to ship them. I am very close to giving this forum his phone number, if my nagging him alone doesn't work, maybe if a few of us call him it will.
 
I had his email address but I cannot find it now.
Tough tactics, but perhaps someone from these forums in good standing local to him can pay a visit to see if there is anything to ship to you.

He said that months ago. If he was going to ship them, he would have done so by now.
Others have nagged him through email and that just" moved them to the end of the line". Bottom line is we will receive nothing unless we go by his house and kick his ass.
 
I guess that part I'm failing to see is why it's so difficult to just paint them and ship them out.

Is the purple one the NOS one?

I agree, shouldn't be a big deal for the guy, he obviously has enough talent to make the ramps themselves so painting them shouldn't be a big deal.
