Genesis reproduction ramp delivery

So sorry for the delay on this guys. My manufacturer and I got in a bit over our heads. It also seems the weather is not helping. The painting needs to be done outdoors, and it has been too cold.

In retrospect, this project has been a lot more involved then originally thought, and it has actually ended up costing me a lot of money.

I will get every last set out to all those who ordered asap.

Thanks again for the patience guys.

Wow !! that's been quite awhile already, hope your entitled to a refund if they are not able to follow through.

Still working...believe me, i want to get these out and done, probably even more then you guys are excited to get them.

If anyone needs to get a hold of me directly, PM me and I will send you my phone number.

Again, I apologize for the delay,I check with my manufacturer everyday, he has just had a few issues.

What are you still working on? Can you elaborate please? Maybe I'm just not seeing what should be taking so long when others shipped a long time ago.

The originals that were shipped were hit or miss on the larger of the two ramps. Some came out perfect, but some had waves, or were a bit off. I tried to explan to the people that complained that they weren't going to be perfect. A couple people wouldn't take that as an answer, so my manufacturer retooled. This involved new molds, new table, etc. On top of that, his entire family has been very sick off and on.

I know this sounds like excuses, but it really is the truth. Every day when I get home from work, I call or email him, find out what is going on, etc.

Please believe me when I tell you, I want this done more then any of you guys. It has been extreemly stressful for me, and I am pretty deep in the hole money wise on this project. The new molds, retooling cost A LOT OF MONEY.

As I mentioned before, if anyone has any more specific questions, please PM me for my phone number.

Thanks
Tim

I have responded to every email I have received. I am in contact with my manufacturer, and am waiting to hear back from him on the ramps. The ToM has nothing to do with this.

Frankly, I am tired of being accused of stealing/scamming/whatever. Fact of the matter is, I would never have even attempted this if it wasn't for members here bugging me about it.

I just wanted the NOS set I got for my game, all of the money I have received has gone to the manufacturer. He claims he is still making the ramps.

That's all I know.

If you guys are offended by my trade post, I will no longer frequent this forum as it has brought me nothing but trouble.

I apologize to everyone again for the delay, but as far as I know, the ramps are still coming.

Lets stop acting like 10 year olds.

I have never accused you of anything and I've been supportive throughout. Don't blame us because the project didn't go as planned. I offered to buy the ramps and do it myself so that precludes me from any blame. The project easily should have been profitable. You got screwed by the manufacturer of the ramps. That's not our fault. We're getting screwed too. If you're going to threaten to take your ball and leave, like a 10 year old, because we've been "nothing but trouble" then just do that and never look back.

Communication goes a very long way in my opinion.

If you had kept the buyers in the loop, they may not be so "childish" when they hear nothing for months.

It is unfortunate that you are in this position, and I don't think you are scamming anyone honestly. People just needed to know what was going on, and if thye are waitin for parts or refiunds, it seems odd that you're buying and selling games with "their money" (I know that is not the case, but that is how it LOOKS).

I am sorry if I am not communicating enough. I have a full time job, and a family. I respond to all emails, maybe not the same day, but with a few days for sure. My manufacturer is on the other side of the country, and doesn't always respond to me right away either.

I am not buying and selling games with "your" money. I sent all the money to the guy for parts and labor.

I have told him that I either need ramps or refunds, and I have also communicated to everyone involved that this is what I have done. Once I know more details, I always email everyone immediately.

I will never take up another project like this, it has been nothing but hassle, I didn't profit one penny from any of this, in fact, I am in the hole, as we have remade some of the early sets for people, and that came out of my pocket.

My manufacturer seems to be someone I may not want to work with in the future, but I am doing everything I can to resolve this issue in the present.
