Just thinking about this, thought I would ask...
I have about 10-15 games in my garage, which is nice and dry as far as water leaks and that sort of thing, but is not air conditioned. I buy almost all of my stuff cheap and fix them up because that's what i like to do...that's a lot of the fun for me.
I am trying to get all of my stuff fixed up and playing before I start really trying to put a "home arcade" together...meaning, when i have time i mostly spend it working on something rather than playing my game. At some point I hope to have stuff working and spend my time playing
Anyway...is there anything i should do? Like should i play the games once a week to keep the monitors working good or what? Should I get one of those humidity absorption buckets and put a couple of those around my games? or should I just wrap them up with plastic and cover them?
Just curious what you guys would do? I dont want to get stuff fixed then find out i have to go re-do all of my monitors again because they were sitting for so long.
