General Info needed regarding dedicated Simpsons cabinet

I picked up my holy grail machine the other day, a fully dedicated simpsons arcade cabinet! I honestly can't even believe I actually own one, as I've loved this machine since I was 7 years old (the year it came out) and have been hoping to get one locally for what feels like forever!
My cabinet is completely original (other than a reproduction marquee), but I need a few things for it.
I need locks for the 4 front doors as well as the backdoor. Is it possible to get original ones that came with this cabinet, or is there a place that sells the exact same size locks that are new.
I also need a bulb for the coin slot, as one is out, as well as the little thing that says 25 cents. I need two coin boxes as well, as mine didn't come with any. Is there a dedicated coin box that came with this cabinet? If there is, can someone show me a pic of it, so I can try to track them down. As you can tell, I want to get this thing as close to 100% original as possible, with as few new parts as possible.

I also heard that other PCB's can be used in this cabinet. Does anyone have a list of other games that can be used in this cabinet without any modifications needed, and that fully play?

Thanks alot in advance.

Congratulations on getting your holy grail game! My holy grail game is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which I built a hallf-size scale replica of last year. (though I do have a Simpsons PCB, and play that on my cabinet too.)

Since my cabinet is a replica, and not original, I can't help with any of the hardware parts.

Now, being a Konami game, you can use other Konami games. Just make sure you get the 4-player versions of the boards, as the 2 player boards require a start button.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time will work on your system. So will Sunset riders, and Wild West: C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa.

The issue with XMen and Bucky O Hare is that they require 3 buttons per player, where your cab only has 2. There are some methods to play them on a two button cabinet, but it requires either modifying your cabinet wiring (which I doubt you want to do) or make some sort of adapter that fits between the game pcb and the Jamma harness. (By the way, these games have start buttons even on 4 player, but the "attack" button seems to do the same thing, so the start button isn't absolutely needed.)

There have been some other topics about other games that will work. Here's one. According to Vongooswink in the topic, these games will work:

Crime Fighters
Vendetta
Captain America and the Avengers (make sure you set the dip switches to 4p. 2p mode requires the Start button).
Punk Shot
Desert Assault

(I tested these in MAME to make sure they only require 2 buttons and no start button. I can't guarantee the 3p/4p connectors are the same or wired the same.)

Since the cabinet is a standard Jamma cabinet (other than the 3p/4p harness), you can run other Jamma games using just P1 and P2 controls. You can only have up to two buttons per player. Your bigger limit is finding games that don't require a Start button.

Thanks man! I've wanted a simpsons ever since I started collecting! Funny you mention TMNT, as that's my second most wanted game.

Thanks for the help in regards to which boards work with my cabinet...although I checked ebay for completed listings of TMNT and TMNT in Time and WTF!!!!!!!!! Just a working board is between $300-500!!!!!!!

I'm not really interested in those other games (other than X Men), but I'm not really willing to modify my cabinet at all, since it's in great overall original condition and i don't want to fuck with it.

Guess I'll just be on the lookout for a cheap TMNT board, thanks again!

This fellow on klov has a Cpt America & the avengers pcb (which works in a Simpsons cab) for $175 shipped ..

And yep you can also use tmnt or tmnt 2 in your cab.
I've got a 6 switcher setup with: tmnt, tmnt2, Simpsons, Cpt america&avengers, spot for cowboys of moo mesa, spot for undecided.
I got the multi condenser for 3/4 player controls from RiddledTV and a nomote for switching between pcbs without a remote from DogP. Great fun for a 4 player cab.

Yea, I don't care if these games are repetitive. I could play them all the time. I still kick myself for not picking up a Simpsons a few years ago for $400 but I wasn't sure I was getting in the hobby at the time. Got a TMNT last year though so that made up for it

Enjoy! It's one of my favorite games as well. I need to buy the pcb one day
