Gearing up for a full White Water restore

I haven't read the whole thread, so sorry if this was mentioned. Are you going to go with original boulders or the new show covered white/blue version. They look pretty cool although I prefer the original look.

Robert.

Some great tips here for when I restore mine. Thanks, jar155 :)

That's where I was hoping this would go. I love KLOV so much.

I'm going to go with the original look. It would be fun to own a set of the white/blue boulders and the Bumble, but I'm not restoring it with those in mind.

Agreed. We really do have an awesome group here.

I went crazy and bought both but I'll see how it looks when finished. Mountains look weird to me if they're not covered in snow ;)

It felt a little weird pulling the Humble Bumble out of the 10 year old packaging. I'm thinking that hacking him up will feel even more wrong.

Ack, pf swaps suck no matter what.
I'll echo what has already been said a bagillion times. Lot's of pictures.
Also, I personally find it very useful to use a large chunk of foam (Home Depot) to press hardware into the shape/position it was on the pf.

Definitely a great tip for people new to shopping pins. I have found over the years and rebuilds that I am now at the point where I can just throw everything into a box and it all comes back together. I still take a lot of pictures though :)
