I bought this gauntlet game off of aguy that had it sitting for about 3 years unplugged. He sayd it worked the last time he used it.
Here are the symptoms:

power comes on and screen lights up (nothing on it)
Light on pc board on
the fuses on the main power supply were both blown 2amp 250v

I replaced them and tried to start it again
this time smoke was comming off of the sound board (the little one behind the coin ops)

I noticed that it was comming from the heat sink on the right (when looking from the front of the machine. ( I have pics I can send anyone that may be able to help with any diagnostics)

Does anyone have any Ideas? Where I can check or wht might be causing this?

I can't put the smoke back in :(

well the first thing my father taught me about electonics is the everything is somke operated and once you let the smoke out your screwed. itsound like the audio output is defective take the heatsink off it and look for a crack there should be one!! you might have to refer to the schematic for the part number sometime's when the magic smoke is let out it takes the part number with it. order a new one try digi-key they might have it, if that still doesnt fix it you might have blown a bias resistor near the amp.
tda2030 is the part number of the audio output you'll need
