Hi all,

Getting a Gauntlet cab (cheap) but I need to fix up the section where the control panel sits.
Attached is a photo of the cab. Can someone give me a guide on how I'd go about fixing this up to how it should be ?

Thanks in advance

Cheap...you should get that for free.

You can fix it, but it will be a bit of work. The most stable fix would be to totally recut the front panel at proper height and then add panels to the sides to get it to height. You would need to put cleats on the inside of the cab to attach the side pieces. I would recommend at each joined edge. The newly-cut front would provide enough rigidity to keep the assembly stable. Use both biscuits/glue in the joined faces and screws through the cleats to join the pieces. When the joint is sanded and sideart applied, you'll never notice the repairs.

Sweet, I was thinking of cutting slits into the sides (like teeth) and do it that way but I've got no clue when it comes to wood lol

Also thought about taking it to a place to have them do it for me :D

But if it's easy then I'll have a go I guess.

Thanks for the tip.
