Someone wants to trade a Ms. Pac for my Gauntlet. Would you do it? Which is more desirable? Worth more? Better game? I've wanted a Ms. Pac for a while, but I love, love, me some Gauntlet. Plus it's a dual Gauntlet I & II. Looking for other opinions.

I think Ms.pacs will always hold better dollar value for resale. But with all the multi boards that exist nowa days, I'd keep Gauntlet. 4 players at once. Hells yeah.

I have both, and I enjoy Gauntlet (II) more, but Ms. Pac definitely gets more play when I have friends over. It's one that EVERYONE can play.

There are reasons to keep each. I think Ms. Pac probably holds a little higher value but it's also more common. I would go with Gauntlet if it was me, since it has both games in it and you can get some good 4 player action going. You can always get Ms Pac on a multi-game or even pick up another dedicated one down the road.

I'd definitely keep the Gauntlet. It plays both 1 and 2. Like everyone else here mentioned, throw a XXx-1 board and you get every version of pac or ms pac you will ever want. But there is nothing like needing food badly with three of your friends getting in the way!

I would trade simply because I'm not a big Gauntlet fan. But in your shoes, I'd keep the Gauntlet since you like it so much. Pacs are easy to come by, Gauntlets arent rare but certainly can be hard to find compared to Pacs.

Gauntlet is a great game when you have enough people over to play. Out of the classics, I think it is one of the better party oriented games.

Ms. Pac is really an A list classic--guaranteed to revive that 80s spark in anyone who was around during the 80s.

Right now I have both in the lineup and plan on keeping it that way. :) If I were in your position, I'd probably hang on to the Gauntlet. Ms. Pacs are a bit easier to come across, and their prices aren't as insane as they were a few years back.

Keep the Gauntlet and find a Ms Pac... Plus you don't really even need a Ms. Pac... Get any pac and put a mutli-pac in it. There are certainly fewer Gauntlets in this world than there are Pacs.

Keep the Gauntlet, Pacs are much more common... and, honestly, if I had a full sized Ms. Pac, I'd trade it in a heartbeat for a Gauntlet.

ms pac is worth more in resale value. Gauntlet is not as common as ms pac but I wouldn't call it rare. Both are good games. Gauntlet is by far more fun with friends. Ms pac probably more fun if you have less visitors to your game room. Gauntlet is kind of a space hog and in this hobby space can be a precious commodity. Ms pac is on the 60 in 1 which you can get cheap and throw in any jamma cab. Really it's which you would enjoy playing/owning more. Unless you are really concerned about resale value. If that's your main concern take the ms pac hands down. Assuming it's in nice physical condition of course.

Personally - I would take gauntlet. Ms Pacs are a dime a dozen and come around all the time.

Having a dual gantlet would be great.

However - as far as games guests will play - 99% will never touch gauntlet. In that instance, having a Mrs. Pac would be great - because everyone plays it. However, i'm finding I play my games more than anyone else, so I've narrowed mine down to my personal tastes. Having the Pac games on a multi-board is good enough for me.

BTW there is a gauntlet listed for sale in the SF bay area CL for $150. Buy that one up and trade it for the ms pac. Then you have both.

I just saw that and I was thinking the same thing. That's a great deal. Alas, I have to hang on to my meager cash because "Chris needs food....badly...." :p

I'm hearing a (near) consensus here...KEEP THE GAUNTLET!!!!! That was my feeling too. It does only see action when I have guests over, and that isn't often. But....it's Gauntlet!

I think I'll keep it for a while longer. And I'm going to power it up just to listen to the attract mode...and to reassure the Valkyrie that I love her still.
