Hello all and thank you for your help in advance.
I know that I have the Vegas 777 board in the gauntlet legends, and I'm wanting to change it to the dark legacy, which I know I can do.
My question is can I install the nfl blitz 2000 gold/ nba showtime gold without having to change the grafix card?
The one I was told I might need is the voodoo banchee card.

If this is so,does anyone have one for sale?

Thank you guys!

You don't need to change any cards to go from GL to GDL.

You need a new security chip, a new ROM, and a new hard drive/image.

There's a couple of people on KLOV that have kits they can sell you.

Thank you, but I did know that, what I was asking was if I needed to chl be the grafix card to install blitz/showtime.
Or if I can just do the samething with dark legacy, change the hd and the chips.

Thank you for the help! Is there a certain grafix card that I need to get?

That link mentions the game you was as follows:

> Midway BLITZ 2000 GOLD (2000)- Yup I have gone off my rocker. Your looking at a genuine 3dfx powered arcade machine! The price was to cheap to pass up and works perfect! What is interesting is that this appears to be a JAMMA conversion machine. Midway offered upgrade packages for older machines as a way of bringing them "up to date" and increasing your revenue. The cabinet is an original SEGA unit that was updated to Midway hardware, new external graphics and a Midway/Atari Seattle PCB board with onboard Voodoo Graphics running the last version of Blitz.

It says onboard Voodoo Graphics -- not sure what it means by this. Does it mean it's integrated onto the Seattle board? Or is he talking generically? In either case he doesn't mention the exact video card so I dunno.

Yeah I had read that....hmmm. Would it be worth my time to buy a voodoo gfx crad and try it? Or could that damage my other boards?

I doubt it would damage anything but it may not work correctly either.

Do you already have the other Seattle boards but are just wondering about the graphics card?

the gold/bitz used a different cpu/vid card, the i/o was the only same part between the sets.

I see. Probably not Worth my time messing with all that then. Ha ha.
Thank you guys for all your help!

Its difficult to find a video card for blitz showtime. I had a source for an aftermarket card for ahwile but they ran out, it was a I/O data brand that worked fine.
