hey, does anybody know how tall, and how wide the legacy cab is im suppose too buy one and it looks big want too make sure i can get it the basement?thanks

It's pretty wide. I just put one in the house and had to take the control panel off just to get it through the door. It also weighs about 500 pounds, so plan on it finishing it's existance in the basement if you can get it down there.

Worse than just being heavy, it is deep so leverage becomes an issue. It takes two people to tilt it back on a dolly unless you are much heavier than I am (220 lbs). I tried a regular hand truck dolly first and then switched to an appliance dolly with straps and still couldn't tilt it by myself.

Good luck.

Yah,
Mine is heavier than F%&K! The big marquee does fol down so the cab becomes more of a standard hight. Like was said before, you'll HAVE to pull off the cpanel to get it in the door - unless you have double doors. Its about 27" wide (with the cpanel off), 73" tall (with the marquee folded down), and 40" deep. The cpanel is 37" wide at its widest point.
Good luck!!

This reminded me to go measure it for you.
The base (without control panel) is: 26.75"w x 39.00"d x 82.50"h.

The control panel makes it 36.75"w x 43"d x 82.50"h.

The good news is that the control panel was made to come off and all of the player controls have connectors. At one time each of the control connectors had labels on them. If yours is like mine, the labels have dropped off at least half of them. I used a marksalot to draw lines on each side of the connectors. 1 line for player one, 2 for player 2, etc.

Just as an FYI - the midway cables at the control panel are all notched - so you don't really need to worry about marking them (besides, they are usually marked anyway).

The notches are all in different spots, so you can't really connect it to the wrong connector without really doing something wrong.

I can just barely move the game myself (although I wished I had help!) and it does fold down to near the size of a MK cabinet. I think they are a little heavier, myself.

Yes, it is heavy... When I moved mine from the garage downstairs, I pulled the monitor and cpanel, it does help.

It still doesn't seem as heavy as my Virtua Fighter 2 cab. Those things were built to withstand global thermonuclear warfare. ;-)
